It is believed to be a very effective diet plan for weight loss than other diets as it helps in weight loss at a faster rate. And it not only caters the weight loss issue but it helps in preventing other body ailments as well like cholesterol problem, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc.

The Dukan Diet

As most of the weight loss diets focus on a low carb only, this also focusses on low carb but along with high-protein. This diet is also divided into four parts. Out of which the 2 focuses on weight loss and the other 2 on the maintenance.

Anyone can follow this diet plan for weight loss. It involves varied food items and in varying quantities in all the 4 phases depending on how much weight one has to lose. The food items included in this diet are mostly the high protein food items. Like lean meat, fish, eggs, vegetables rich in protein and green vegetables, sugar-free drinks, fat-free dairy products, soy food, tofu, and oat bran is a must. But you cannot consume all of them in 4 phases as it depends on which phase you are. This diet plan for weight loss is also very effective.
