Viral Fever


It is among the most common monsoon disease and one may get this disease in any season. But the most common season for the Viral Fevers is monsoon season. And this viral fever may last up to 1 week as well. It can be recognized by some common symptoms like constant fever, feeling cold, and cough. It can be caused to other people also in the family because of the virus and the bacteria from a cough and cold. One should consult the doctor if any such symptoms are seen.

Typhoid

Typhoid is also one of the common monsoon diseases. It is caused due to the unhygienic conditions. It can be because of the unhygienic food or water. However, it is considered as the diseases caused by poor sanitation and consumption of mainly unhygienic water. Some common symptoms of this disease are a headache, pain, fever, and weakness. The best way to avoid or prevent this disease is to don’t consume outside food, and better drink healthy drinks and fluids. The disease can affect anyone from a child to and adolescence. So everyone should take proper care to prevent it.

Cholera

Just like typhoid, this disease is also caused by the contaminated or unhygienic water and food. It is always better to visit a doctor when the symptoms of such diseases are seen. The common symptom of Cholera is loose motion which can result in diarrhea also and can worsen the situation. We know it’s tempting especially in the monsoon to eat from that street-side vendor. But then you should know that what it can lead to. So your health is in your hands and that is why it is better to cook homemade healthy food in monsoon.

Jaundice




The main reason for the most of the monsoon diseases is the contaminated and polluted water. And consuming that or its use in the preparation of food can cause disease like Jaundice. This disease can last long and one may take around 4 to 5 weeks from getting recovered from this disease. The common symptoms of Jaundice are vomiting, yellowing of eyes and nails, yellow urine, and liver dysfunction. In such conditions, the advice of the doctor is a must. And one should take boiled water and should completely avoid eating any fried or oily food.

Malaria

With monsoon, starts the problem of waterlogging in many areas. And due to waterlogging, the disease like Malaria can catch and affect your health. Because of the dirty and contaminated water, mosquitoes start breeding in it. And the Malaria is caused by the bite of the female mosquito ‘Anopheles’ only. The symptoms of malaria are fever and shivering, weakness, and pain in the muscles. To prevent such diseases, you need to check that waterlogging does not take place nearby your home or locality. Otherwise, you will have to suffer from such diseases and you may need to get admit to the hospital also.

Stomach Infections





This is also one of the common monsoon diseases which can affect a kid also and an adult also. As the monsoons make us crave for samosas, pakodis, and chaats. But we forget the fact that in monsoon season, eating such food is not good for our digestive system. And that is why it leads to the stomach infection and if the situation becomes worse than we may end up suffering from a disease like Diarrhoea. So, it’s better to avoid such fried, oily, or outside food and eat home cooked food.
